Early Epstein accuser feels 'redeemed'
Maria Farmer, one of Jeffrey Epstein's earliest accusers, told the BBC that she feels "redeemed" about her 1996 complaint to the FBI being included in the newly released files related to his case.
"Thank you for believing me. I feel redeemed," Farmer said.
Farmer said in that complaint that Epstein stole personal images she took of her sisters, who were aged 12 and 16. The FBI's report said that she believed Epstein had sold the photographs to potential buyers and had threatened to burn her house down if she told anyone about it, BBC reported.
"This is one of the best days of my life. Of course, it's mixed with the fact that I'm devastated about all the other little girls like Virginia who were harmed because the FBI didn't do their job," she told the broadcaster.
"I'm crying for two reasons. I want everyone to know that I am shedding tears of joy for myself, but also tears of sorrow for all the other victims that the FBI failed."
