President Trump breaks silence amid reports of Ali Khamenei's death

President Trump has commented on rumours the Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei has been killed in US-Israeli strikes in the capital today.

Iran has been hit with a flurry of missiles from the US and Israel in a joint operation today (Saturday, February 28) with reports suggesting Khamenei has not only been killed in the strikes but his body recovered from rubble.

The reports so far remain unconfirmed, though Donald Trump says the US believes the rumours to be true.
