Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Facing Two Additional Charges in New Indictment

As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial approaches next month, prosecutors have filed a superseding indictment with additional charges of sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs was initially facing three charges — racketeering conspiracy, transportation to engage in prostitution and sex trafficking — before today’s indictment, which expands his case to include the two new charges. Prosecutors previously filed an expanded superseding indictment in January, adding two new female victims and accusing Combs of engaging in criminal conduct four years earlier than previously stated.

In yesterday’s 17-page filing, reviewed by Variety, prosecutors allege that Combs engaged in sex trafficking of Victim-2 from around 2021 through 2024. The document states that Combs “recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, and maintained Victim-2,” and that he “attempted, aided and abetted, and willfully caused Victim-2, to engage in commercial sex acts.”

He is also charged with transportation to engage in prostitution of Victim-2 and commercial sex workers. The indictment states that Combs “knowingly transported individuals in interstate and foreign commerce with intent that the individuals engage in prostitution.”

In a statement shared with Variety, representatives for Combs said, “These are not new allegations or new accusers. These are the same individuals, former long-term girlfriends, who were involved in consensual relationships. This was their private sex life, defined by consent, not coercion.”

Combs is currently incarcerated in New York City as he awaits his trial, which is tentatively scheduled to begin on May 5. He previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, which were brought against him in Sept. 2024.

Most recently, he’s scored small victories in a few of his many civil cases. Earlier this week, a judge dismissed one case after a Jane Doe chose not to reveal her identity, and last week, five charges were dismissed in a separate case against Combs, though four charges remained.
