Man and girl, 10, killed in caravan park fire
by Neil Shaw · Wales OnlineA 48-year-old man and a 10-year-old girl have died in a fire at a caravan park. Firefighters, police and paramedics were sent to Coastfields Holiday Park, Roman Bank, Ingoldmells at 3.53am this morning.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "We are very sad to confirm that two people have died following a caravan fire at Goldenbeach Holiday Park, Roman Bank, Ingoldmells. We were called at 3.53 am today (5 April) to a report of a caravan fire at the holiday park where two people have tragically lost their lives.
"Their next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specially trained officers. Fire & Rescue crews attended from Skegness, Wainfleet, Spilsby and Alford. There are two crews still at the scene and fire investigations are on-going.
"We have Crime Scene Investigators on site, and we are carrying out inquires to determine the exact cause of the fire. We are at the very early stages of our investigation and as such we are keeping an open mind."
