'Expect delays': Road works announced for the Main Street of this Kildare town

Traffic management measures will be implemented during the course of the works

Road works have been announced for the Main Street of one County Kildare town.

Kildare County Council (KCC) explained: "Roadworks on the R-448 at Main Street, Kilcullen will commence on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 until Friday, April 24, 2026.

"Stop / Go traffic management will be in place and road users should expect to experience significant delays during the period of the works."

KCC added: "Your co-operation is appreciated and any inconvenience caused is regretted."
