Paedophile who made over 100 indecent images and videos of children jailed for two years

A paedophile who admitted to making more than 100 indecent images and videos of children, along with extreme pornography, has been jailed. Sebastian Ross-Sturman, from Coventry, was sentenced to two years and six months behind bars on Wednesday, November 20.

The 39-year-old was charged with multiple offences of making indecent images following his arrest in 2022. He was found to have uploaded Category A indecent images, the most serious kind, to the internet in 2021.

He admitted to the offences, which included over 100 indecent images and videos of children and extreme pornography. Ross-Sturman was sentenced at Warwick Crown Court after pleading guilty. He also was given a lifetime sexual harm prevention order.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "A man has been jailed for making indecent images of children. Sebastian Ross-Sturman was jailed on 20 November for multiple offences of making indecent images.

"The 39-year-old from Coventry was found to have uploaded Category A indecent images to the internet in 2021. Following a lengthy investigation by our OCSET (Online Child Exploitation Team), he was arrested in 2022.

"He admitted to the offences, which included over 100 indecent images and videos of children and extreme pornography. Ross-Sturman was sentenced to two years and six months at Warwick Crown Court after pleading guilty. He also was given a lifetime sexual harm prevention order."
