Shri Dashmesh Darbar busts Congress leader Supriya Shrinate's fake news on removing JP Nadda from Gurudwara

Notorious for furthering lies, canards, and fake news, Congress social media head Supriya Shrinate recently claimed that BJP President JP Nadda went to campaign in a gurdwara on the pretext of paying obeisance. She further claimed that he was thrown out of the gurdwara for campaigning inside the Gurudwara. However, when TFI Media probed the veracity of her claims, we found that her claims couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, Thane Gurudwara has outrightly rubbished her claims and painted a clear picture of the said visit.

The incident is said to have occurred on November 15, during the Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrations. During his Maharashtra election campaigning, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) President JP Nadda visited a Gurudwara in Thane. Nadda’s presence at the Gurdwara Sri Dashmesh Darbar coincided with a Kirtan. The Gurudwara authorities later clarified the situation.

Giani Lakhwinder Singh, Granthi of Gurdwara Sri Dashmesh Darbar, explained: “On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, just like thousands of devotees, Nadda ji had also come to the Gurudwara to bow his head with devotion. However, during the ongoing Kirtan, he had to leave for another scheduled programme.”

“When he stood up to leave, some of his companions and media personnel stood with their backs toward the Guru Maharaj and the Kirtanists. We only requested them to respect the Kirtan. Unfortunately, the media has reported this incident inaccurately. The Gurudwara respects everyone equally, but the highest respect is always for Guru Granth Sahib, Guruvani, and Kirtan.” Giani Lakhwinder explained.

The BJP leader was in Thane campaigning for Sanjay Kelkar and other Mahayuti candidates. His schedule included meetings with party workers and public addresses to boost election morale. Before these engagements, he visited the Gurudwara near Teen Hath Naka to pay respects on the auspicious day of Guru Nanak Jayanti. He was accompanied by MLA Sanjay Kelkar, Niranjan Davkhare, Madhavi Naik, and Sanjay Waghule.

As the Gurudwara management busted the claims of Supriya Shrinate, it is clear that this was yet another attempt by the Congress to besmirch the ruling party and its President.
