King Charles set to welcome Ukraine’s President Zelensky to Sandringham

The King is expected to see President Zelensky as Ukraine’s leader continues a visit to the UK.
Their meeting will come just 48 hours after a heated row at the White House between Vlodomyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, the US President and JD Vance, the US Vice President.
The men clashed in front of reporters as they discussed the war in Ukraine.
Just before President Zelensky’s visit, the UK Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, had been in Washington where he handed over an invitation from King Charles to Donald Trump for an unprecedented second State Visit to the UK.
Sir Keir Starmer welcomed President Zelensky to 10 Downing Street hours after the clash in Washington. It’s understood the meeting with King Charles has been made at the request of the UK government.
