Dr. Bawumia hasn’t changed- Kevin Taylor

Ghanaian media personality, Kevin Taylor has said that nothing has changed about the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Bawumia.

Kevin Taylor, speaking during the recent episode of his “With All Due Respect” show expressed that he expected to see a change in the politician following their massive defeat in the last general election.

Kevin Taylor noted that following that election, he anticipated seeing a better version of Dr. Bawumia, that is, not being a duplicate of former first gentleman of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to him “What surprises me most is that after the scale of his 2024 electoral defeat, I expected a complete reset in how he presents himself to the country”.

However, the media personality claims “Instead, it feels as though nothing has changed and nothing will ever change around him,” adding that “He wants to talk like Akufo-Addo, walk like Akufo-Addo, and badly be Akufo-Addo that he forgets he has his own personality to project”.

He stated emphatically that “I don’t hate Dr. Bawumia. He’s worked hard, risen through the ranks, and achieved what many people never will. Credit to him for that.”

Kevin Taylor believes that “If people don’t see seriousness in you during serious moments, that perception eventually becomes part of your political identity. Unfortunately, that is the image Dr. Bawumia has cultivated.”
