After Das's bail plea was rejected on Tuesday, the Chittagong court premises turned into a warzone that led to the death of a lawyer. 

Bangladesh police arrested Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, a leader of the Hindu group Sammilita Sanatani Jote, from the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport area in Dhaka while travelling to Chattogram, drawing a sharp reaction from MEA and the Hindu community from both nations.

Sheikh Hasina appealed to the people in Bangladesh to stand united against such incidents of terrorism and militancy. She said it is important to ensure the safety of the lives of people.

The Bangladeh court denied bail to Krishna Das Prabhu and ordered him detained pending further proceedings. One lawyer was killed and scores were injured after clashes broke out following Tuesday's court order.
