State government uncovers 1,458 employees fraudulently receiving social security pension, prompting stern disciplinary action and recovery of funds.

The irregularities came to light during an audit conducted by the Information Kerala Mission after instructions from the Kerala's Finance Department to ensure that only those eligible get the pension.
