FME, the Dutch technology industry association, called on the Netherlands and the European Union to clarify the status of American import tariffs following a U.S. Supreme Court ruling Friday that declared much of the Trump tariffs unlawful.The ruling came as President Donald Trump announced new global tariffs of 10 percent based on a different law and later Saturday suggested raising the rate to 15 percent. FME said the developments have created significant uncertainty for European exporters.
