In a TV interview, Kash Patel, the director of the F.B.I., said investigators had found physical evidence connecting the suspected gunman with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk in Utah.

Sept. 15 (UPI) -- DNA sequencing in last week's shooting death of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk links suspect Tyler Robinson to the crime, FBI director Kash Patel said.

Family and friends of the 22-year-old accused of fatally shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk described his politics as veering left in recent years.

Robinson’s family turned him in to police after identifying him from images released by authorities after the shooting.
