BEITRU, Lebanon, July 16 (UPI) -- Israel carried out heavy airstrikes in the heart of Damascus om Wednesday, hitting the Syrian Defense Ministry headquarters and an area surrounding the presidential palace. The attack killed three people and wounded 34 others, according to media reports and the Syrian Health Ministry.
