President Trump is posthumously awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist who was fatally shot and killed last month while speaking at Utah Valley University.

The State Department on Tuesday revealed it has reviewed online social media posts and clips of Kirk following his death at a Utah college campus on September 10.
