ROME/JERUSALEM >> Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa entered Gaza today to bring aid to victims of Israel’s strike on the sole Catholic church in the Palestinian enclave, while he and a Vatican official questioned Israeli explanations for the incident.

United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has strongly condemned an Israeli strike on the Holy Family Church in Gaza.

Three people died and nine others were wounded when the Gaza's Holy Family Church was hit, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem said in a statement.
