Greenland and Denmark’s governments have sought a meeting with the US Secretary of State to discuss Trump’s latest annexation threats.

Greenland's PM told Trump to stop with the "fantasies of annexation." Denmark says the US has no right to take the territory.

"We need it for national security, right now," said Donald Trump when asked by Sky's US partner network NBC News about whether he's serious about taking Greenland.
