Nara Ramamurthy Naidu’s last rites to be performed at Naravaripalle on November 17. The younger brother of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was TDP legislator from Chandragiri from 1994 to 1999. He sprang a surprise in 2003 by joining the Congress party, and unsuccessfully contested as rebel candidate in the 2004 elections.

Ramamurthy Naidu had been battling health issues for an extended period before his passing on Thursday. He was under treatment but succumbed to his illness, leaving a void in the Nara family.
