The agency issued the clarification following the discharge of Kyari by Justice James Omotosho on a 23-count charge related to alleged non-declaration of assets.

The anti-drug agency stated this when reacting to the discharge of Abba Kyari by Justice James Omotosho on a 23-count charge bordering on alleged non-declaration of assets filed against him by NDLEA.

The judge held that the NDLEA failed to prove the non-disclosure of assets charges against Mr Kyari and his brothers beyond reasonable doubt.
