The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Tinubu had on Tuesday evening asked Shettima to visit the state to sympathise with the state government.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Islamic organisation expressed concern over the recurring pattern of mass abductions in northern Nigeria, noting that the incident occurred just days after a Security Summit in Birnin-Kebbi on November 10.
