Afod, in a video shared on his Instagram page on Friday, appealed to the Ogun State Government, the Federal Road Safety Corps and other emergency agencies to come urgently to the victims’ aid.

According to the government, a passerby reported the accident at the FRSC point in Ogere, where a state ambulance was stationed, at 12:18pm, “while the ambulance and FRSC personnel arrived at the scene at 12:28pm.”

Ogun State says responders reached the Saapade crash within 10 minutes, rejecting Kunle Afod’s 20-minute claim and accusing him of politicising the incident.
