Cholera has killed five persons and infected 53 other residents in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. The State Commissioner for Health,

He said the Ministry of Health is intensifying public health interventions to contain the outbreak, prevent further spread and minimise its impact on affected communities.

He said the confirmed and suspected cases were from Pushit, Mangu 1 and Mangu 2 communities in Mangu Local Government Area.
