The remains of Awujale of Ijebuland and paramount ruler of the Ijebu people, Oba Sikiru Adetona, were buried at his private residence in Ijebu Ode, Ogun

The revered monarch, who passed away at the age of 91, was interred on Monday according to traditional rites in a solemn ceremony attended by dignitaries, royal family members, and high chiefs of the Ijebu Traditional Council.

A large crowd of mourners, including prominent politicians and traditional leaders, gathered at the Ogbagba Court to pay their last respects to the late Awujale.
