John Bolton arrived at a federal courthouse on Friday to surrender to authorities on charges accusing the former Trump administration national security adviser, turned critic of the president, of mishandling classified information.

Oct. 17 (UPI) -- John Bolton, the former national security adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, pleaded not guilty Friday after he turned himself in to federal authorities on charges he illegally held and shared national security information.

Mr. Bolton appeared in federal court in Greenbelt, Md., a day after he was indicted by a grand jury.
