The £300 Winter Fuel Payment is being scrapped

The DWP has laid bare an incoming fresh shake-up to £300 Winter Fuel Allowance payouts.

The Labour Party has confirmed that the free bus pass scheme will not be scrapped after state pensioners were left concerned following the end of the £300 Winter Fuel Payment

There are currently no plans to scrap free bus passes for older people

Labour spokesperson has confirmed that there are "no plans to withdraw" the free bus pass scheme.

In the past the Winter Fuel Payment, worth up to £300, was available to everyone aged 66 and above.
