Donald Trump has said there is going to be "a big, beautiful agreement" on Ukraine which "might involve all of Europe".

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump predicted Thursday(Nov 5) an imminent deal with Russia covering Ukraine and "all of Europe", after his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, hosted officials from the two

The US president’s comments fuel European fears that he is pivoting towards the Kremlin and will push Ukraine into an unfavourable deal to end Russia’s invasion.

Melania Trump said she hopes the ceasefire in Oleshky, which produced tangible, positive results, will inspire greater peace.

President Donald Trump says he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin's envoy at the White House but did not meet with Ukrainian officials who were also visiting on Thursday.

An agreement is “going to involve more than Ukraine,” the U.S. president said after a meeting with Kirill Dmitriev.

US first lady Melania Trump will host Russian and Ukrainian representatives at the White House on November 5 for a meeting following a localized cease-fire in Ukraine's southern Kherson region, as a new round of US-mediated peace talks is set to take place next week.
