US President Donald Trump has said he is banning news outlets CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House, accusing them without specifics of reporting "fiction and lies".

The White House denied access to journalists from CNN, MS NOW and Politico, following through with US President Donald Trump's announcement that he would ban them from the building's grounds.

Trump banned CNN, MS Now, and Politico from the White House this morning. CNN called this ban an ‘illegal assault on this fundamental right” in the constitution.

“Other Fake News Media Outlets” are to follow, Trump added, but he did not say which.

When President Trump sits down with Chinese President Xi Jinping for a state dinner at the White House next week, they will be flanked by the architects of America's tech economy.
