Cybercriminals and fraudsters hacked Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama’s verified X account for 48 hours to promote a fraudulent cryptocurrency project.

The government confirmed that President John Mahama’s official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, was been hacked and used to promote a scam.
