The district president of a Shiv Sena group has been shot dead here while a boy was injured in the attack, police said on Friday.

A Shiv Sena leader, Manga (52), was shot dead late Thursday night while a 12-year-old boy was injured. The first bullet missed him and hit the boy. Manga tried to flee on a two-wheeler, but the assailants chased and killed him.
