The man had been on the run ever since 30-year-old Himanshi Khurana's body was recovered inside a house in Toronto on December 20 last year. Following the murder, the police had said the case appeared to be an act of 'intimate partner violence.'

Toronto Police have arrested Abdul Ghafoori after he returned to Canada in the Himanshi Khurana murder case. The arrest advances a cross-border investigation into the death of the young Indian woman.
