Tamil Nadu has formed a four-member all-women SIT to investigate the POCSO case against granite businessman R Veeramani. The move comes amid outrage over alleged police inaction and demands for strict punishment.

Shanti and Mahendra Simhan were arrested along with Veeramani in late August in connection with the case and subsequently remanded in judicial custody.
