Aaditya Thackeray has denied ever meeting Disha Salian and accused political rivals of targeting him, as the CBI begins a fresh probe into her 2020 death.

The CBI has registered a fresh FIR in the Disha Salian death case, naming Rhea Chakraborty, Sooraj Pancholi and Dino Morea. The FIR covers allegations of gang rape, murder and a cover-up, with the CBI now investigating the claims.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray dismissed the fresh CBI FIR linking him to Disha Salian's 2020 death as a politically motivated smear campaign.  

The FIR states that Salian shared the information with Rajput, who in turn shared it with Chakraborty. It further alleges Chakraborty was in contact with Aditya Thackeray and actor Dino Morea, and passed on word to them that Salian and Rajput were planning to expose the matter.
