India Today's Nagarjun Dwarkanath reports that the incident, which occurred around 11:30 PM, was captured on CCTV. The footage shows the vehicle narrowly missing several pedestrians. According to Dwarkanath, 'In a whisper, the five pedestrians were just sitting there and chatting, standing there and chatting. Missed the car hitting them.' Fortunately, no casualties were reported as the car's airbags deployed, and the driver survived the crash. Police have issued a notice for the driver to appear. The incident highlights the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol in the heart of the city.
