New Delhi on Friday, said Erdogan's statements on the Kashmir issue were "unacceptable" adding that it has lodged a "strong protest."

During his recent visit to Pakistan, Recep Tayyip Erdogan remarked that the Kashmir issue should be addressed in accordance with UN resolutions through dialogue while considering the aspirations of the people of Kashmir.

The Ministry of External Affairs on Friday criticised Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's remark on Kashmir and said that it has lodged a strong protest with the Turkish ambassador.
