The son of Norway’s crown princess went on trial on Tuesday in a case that has placed the country’s royal family under intense scrutiny, as prosecutors

Marius Borg Hoiby, Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s 29-year-old son, admitted living a life of excess with ‘a lot of sex, a lot of drugs, and a lot of alcohol’.

Marius Borg Høiby gives evidence after the first woman he is alleged to have raped told the court she believed she had been drugged.
