Russian strikes killed at least 21 people across Ukraine, a day after Russia announced a truce for its Victory Day celebrations.

The unilateral ceasefire announced by Ukraine was due to take effect, but Ukraine accused Russia of new strikes just hours after attacks killed at least 28 people in cities across the war-battered nation.
