The Kansas City Chiefs will NOT be going to the Super Bowl this football season… or even the playoffs! On Sunday, the team took on the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium, where quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a GNARLY knee injury! See a highlight (below):

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs went on to lose the game, which Taylor Swift was in attendance of, 16 to 13. So that means for the first time since 2014, they’re officially eliminated from playoff contention.

Patrick has since taken to X (Twitter) to address his injury and devastating loss:

“Don’t know why this had to happen. And not going to lie it’s hurts. But all we can do now is Trust in God and attack every single day over and over again. Thank you Chiefs kingdom for always supporting me and for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers. I Will be back stronger than ever”
