Four key Super Eagles players are on the brink of suspension ahead of Nigeria’s final Group C game against Uganda due to yellow card accumulation.

Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Semi Ajayi, and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali are each one booking away from suspension.

Osimhen, Nigeria’s leading striker, received a caution against Tunisia after scoring the opening goal, while Lookman was booked in the opening game against Tanzania.

Semi Ajayi was also cautioned for a foul against Tunisia, and Nwabali received a yellow for time-wasting in the same match.

A victory over Uganda would secure nine points from the group stage for the Super Eagles, confirming their place in the Round of 16 having already defeated Tanzania 2-1 and Tunisia 3-2, to solidify their place in the knockout phase.

The quartet must tread carefully in the game today to avoid missing the knockout stage
