Man U reach agreement with Carrick as Interim Head Coach
by Adenle Ahmed Abiola · The Eagle OnlineAccording to reports from England, Manchester United have reached a preliminary agreement to appoint Michael Carrick as Interim Head Coach until the end of the season.
The deal, which includes Carrick’s preferred backroom staff, is subject to the finalisation of contractual details.
An official announcement is expected soon.
The process was led by football director Jason Wilcox and CEO Omar Berrada, with the approval of co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the Glazer family.
Carrick emerged as the top candidate after direct talks with club officials, beating out Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
