Nigeria lost the first shot taken by Fisayo Dele-Basiru.
The captain of the Pharaohs of Egypt, Mohamed Sabah, also lost his kick.
Akor Adams made no mistake when he sent the Egyptian goalkeeper the wrong way.
Mohammed Marmouch then lost his kick, with Stanley Nwabali saving it with his legs.

Moses Simon, who captained the team, stepped up for the third penalty for the Super Eagles and cooly slotted it in.
The Pharaohs put their third kick beyond Nwabali’s reach.
Alex Iwobi also scored with a beautifully struck kick.
Mahmoud Sabeh struck high into the corner.
With the power and pace of the strike, Nwabali could not reach the kick.
Ademola Lookman, who performed well throughout the tournament for Nigeria, won the game for Nigeria with a beautifully taken kick.
Nigeria thus won bronze with a 4-2 penalty scoreline.
This will be the 10th third place match for Nigeria in the AFCON.
Goalkeeper Nwabali emerged the Man of the Match after stopping two penalty kicks by the Pharaohs of Egypt.
