The victory completed Brazil’s two-match tour of Australia after the two sides played out a 1-1 draw in their first meeting in Townsville four days earlier.
Brazil started strongly in Brisbane, with Vanderson opening the scoring in the third minute with a sharp finish.
Australia responded with two goals before half-time to take control of the contest. Alessandro Circati equalised in the 28th minute with a deft touch from a corner before Connor Metcalfe fired the Socceroos ahead with a long-range left-footed strike five minutes later.
Brazil restored parity just before the interval when Raphinha converted a penalty in the 45th minute to make it 2-2.
The visitors then regained the lead in the 69th minute through Bruno Guimarães, who finished a precise team move.
Vinícius Júnior completed Brazil’s comeback in the 80th minute by converting another penalty to seal the 4-2 victory.
The second half also witnessed a heated touchline confrontation involving Brazilian substitute Endrick and Australia defender Harry Souttar.

The clash spilled towards the Socceroos’ bench and resulted in yellow cards for both players.
Brazil had settled for a 1-1 draw in the first encounter at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on Friday, September 25.
The two-match series provided further preparation for Australia ahead of the Asian Cup in January, despite Tony Popovic’s side ending the tour with a defeat.
