Simon, Adams fire Nigeria past Iran in Antalya friendly

Nigeria made a fast start and went ahead in the sixth minute.
Moses Simon finished from the centre of the box after a pass from Samuel Chukwueze.
The Super Eagles doubled their advantage shortly after the restart, with Akor Adams scoring in the 51st minute from close range following an assist by Ademola Lookman.
Iran responded in the 67th minute through Mehdi Taremi, reducing the deficit and pushing for a comeback.

Nigeria made several changes as the match progressed, introducing Paul Onuachu, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Chidera Ejuke and Frank Onyeka.
Iran also made substitutions in a bid to find an equaliser, but Nigeria held on to secure the win.
The Super Eagles will face Jordan in their next friendly on Tuesday, March 31.
