Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv has announced the signing of Canadian forward Oshae Brissett on a two-year contract.
The 27-year-old brings with him significant experience from the NBA, having played in 243 games across four teams, including a role in the Boston Celtics‘ 2023 NBA Championship run.
Brissett is known for his energy, versatility, and defensive toughness, with the ability to play both forward positions and even step in as a shooting guard. His game is defined by aggressive rebounding—particularly on the offensive glass—strong perimeter defense, and a high motor.
“I’m joining the most decorated club in the world to win more titles,” Brissett said in the club’s official announcement. “I’m grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to meet the fans. Let’s go Maccabi!”
Brissett, who grew up in Toronto, developed at Findlay Prep in Nevada and starred for Syracuse University before beginning his NBA career in 2019 with the Toronto Raptors.
He later played for Indiana and Boston, and spent parts of last season with the Philadelphia 76ers and their G League affiliate. The 2025–26 season will mark his EuroLeague debut.
