15 players to miss Man City vs Newcastle Carabao Cup semi-final after injury updates given

Pep Guardiola's men hold a commanding advantage heading into the second leg of the Carabao Cup tie at Wembley. City triumphed 2-0 over Eddie Howe's outfit at St James' Park, leaving the Magpies with an uphill task on the blue side of Manchester.
Going into the second leg, both sides are struggling with a huge number of injuries between them. However, the Toon may draw encouragement from City's dramatic second-half collapse in their away fixture against Tottenham.

The danger seemed minimal when City reached the interval at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium holding a comfortable 2-0 lead, but a second-half double saw the Cityzens surrender two crucial points in north London. However, Howe's side will also be recovering from their own disappointment, having lost 4-1 to Liverpool at Anfield.
Anthony Gordon gave Newcastle the lead, but a brace from Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz and Ibrahima Konate Both sides will be looking to channel their own frustration into the second-leg. Ahead of the clash at the Etihad Stadium, ChronicleLive looks at both team's injury issues.
