“Liverpool or Real Madrid” – Defender reveals desire to join Reds or Los Blancos

The 20-year-old has received interest from the UK, without revealing whether Liverpool are one of them. In fact, he hasn’t confirmed the details of the club[s] that are keen on securing his services.
N’diaye spent his youth career in France, starting with Le Havre and left them join to join Angers SCO for free in July 2022.
The centre-back spent three years with the latter before Angers released him at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Last summer, Dunkerque then took him on a free transfer before releasing him again at the start of this year.
N’diaye impressed during his trial, convincing the second division Swedish club to sign him permanently on January 30th. He started in Helsingborgs IF’s 4-0 and 4-1 Svenska Cupen [Swedish Cup] defeats to Elfsborg and Sirius respectively.
He played the full 90 minutes in both, and below are his stats from the two cup matches.

Although he hasn’t even played 200 minutes for Helsingborgs IF, he is attracting interest from other clubs.
Liverpool or Real Madrid dream
The defender has given an interview to Swedish outlet HD and Fotboll Direkt have relayed his comments.
“I’ve received a couple of phone calls,” he said.
Sportbladet, via Fotboll Direkt, report some of the calls were from the UK. The outlet then relays his comment, confirming interest, without specifying whether it’s from the English clubs.
“I know there’s interest, but right now I’m just concentrating on Helsingborg and doing as well as possible here. Then we’ll see what happens,” Demba N’diaye explained.
When discussing his future goals, he mentions Liverpool and Real Madrid. The report or the player makes no mention whether Arne Slot’s are also keen on securing his services.
“To join a major club in the world. Liverpool, Real Madrid or something like that. To play in the Champions League, and to win the African Cup of Nations with Senegal,” he added.
At the weekend, Sport Witness relayed news Liverpool are keen on signing OH Leuven’s Roggerio Nyakossi in the summer. If the Reds were to sign him or another centre-back, N’diaye will have to wait to fulfil his Anfield dream.
N’diaye’s contract, value and agent info
The French-born defender has a contract until December 2028, and Transfermarkt haven’t mentioned his value. According to be BeSoccer, his value was €53.8k in 2025.
Helsingborgs IF will certainly demand at least a million if Liverpool or any other Premier League side were to make an approach.
