Player’s agent evaluating shock Nottingham Forest exit – Months after big-money arrival

by · Sport Witness

Nottingham Forest paid about €40m to sign Dan Ndoye from Bologna in the summer.

Since his arrival, the versatile attacker has a goal and an assist in the Premier League. He has shown glimpses of his ability but is still to fully impress.

An early exit from Nottingham Forest is now reported as a possibility for the 25-year-old.

Journalist Emmanuele Cammaroto has written about the attacker in his latest column for NapoliMagazine. He made it clear that Ndoye’s agent will soon evaluate his future at the City Ground.

Cammaroto wrote: There’s a suggestion we’re currently reporting without further ado: Ndoye could leave Nottingham on loan in January. In the coming days, his agent will evaluate the situation with the player while the English club is navigating the depths of the Premier League.”

The Italian journalist said the Switzerland international can emerge as an option for Napoli.

“His name has immediately been linked again with Napoli. We’ll see if there’s a sensational resurgence. The transfer market options are endless.”

Any deal to sign Ndoye permanently will not be cheap. And surely an exit from Nottingham Forest just six months after his arrival would be a rash step.

In a case like this, everything can depend on the player and his wishes. The Swiss star was playing in the Champions League last season at Bologna, and helped them win the Coppa Italia.

He would want to be doing better than just fighting against relegation in the Premier League. Whether he’s been disappointed by his Nottingham Forest reality is the key issue.
