‘Official offer now submitted’ – Acceleration in move to sign West Ham player

by · Sport Witness

On Wednesday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Niclas Füllkrug’s move from West Ham to AC Milan looks like a matter of time.

Personal terms are said to have been agreed. The two clubs have been in discussions, with the Rossoneri offering an initial six-month loan. The forward’s entourage has been in touch with Max Allegri’s side already in an attempt to iron out a transfer.

Now, the German media has picked up more information about the West Ham player, who is seeking to leave in January.

Sky Germany report Milan have ‘now submitted and official offer’ for the 33-year-old.

The Italian side have put forward a loan with an option to buy. West Ham are aiming to let the German depart on a loan with an obligation to buy. The Hammers are said to be reviewing the offer internally.

The outlet claim that Wolfsburg are also interested, but Milan are pushing to sign the player soon.

It has been suggested that Füllkrug has given his priority to the Rossoneri, despite two approaches from the Bundesliga.

Considering the Germany international’s struggles in England, West Ham will be fortunate if they get a guarantee of a permanent sale from Milan. There may be the chance of a conditional purchase based on performances, though.
