Sunderland have finalised a deal for Union Saint-Gilloise youngster Noah Sadiki, with a deal and medical completed.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who report the 20-year-old midfielder will be joining Sunderland this summer.

They report that an agreement between the two clubs has been reached, and the player has completed a medical as well. The documents on the transfer are now being signed.

Sadiki will join Sunderland until 2030 in a deal that will cost the Black Cats approximately €17m. They have beaten several Champions League teams to secure Sadiki’s signature this summer.

Journalist Santi Aouna reports this was because Sadiki was convinced by the project that Sunderland presented to him.

He will become the third signing of what is gearing up to be a busy summer transfer window for the Premier League returnees. They have already strengthened their midfielder with the €31.5m signing of Habib Diarra, while Enzo Le Fée has signed on a €23m deal permanently as well.

They, of course, have money to spend after Jobe Bellingham departed for Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer. Now Sadiki is on the way in what will be a new look spine of the team this season.
