Entourage offers player to West Ham – Club want sale, agent ‘working to find solution’
by Naveen Ullal · Sport WitnessOn June 18th, Tuttosport reported AC Milan are expected to contact West Ham United for Yunus Musah, after his failed move to Napoli.
A day later, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Graham Potter’s side can step in to sign the 22-year-old this summer.
Tuesday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport reports West Ham are among the clubs in the mix to secure his services.
Milan sporting director Igli Tare is working on signings, while also engaging in discussions for some player exits. This includes the American and Malick Thiaw.
The report states the Hammers, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers all like Musah, but the Rossoneri are yet to receive an offer so far.
Calciomercato reports Musah isn’t part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans and therefore, his agent is ‘working to find a solution between Napoli and the Premier League’.
They state his agent and intermediaries involved in the operation are trying to keep the Napoli move alive. Meanwhile, his entourage has offered him to West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Wolves.
These three clubs, as per Corriere, like him, but Calciomercato claim they haven’t made any advances to sign him. If it were up to the player, he would prefer Napoli over West Ham or the other two.
Milan are asking for close to €30m, and it’s unclear whether their request will be fulfilled.
