‘Full agreement reached’ for Nottingham Forest exit – Nuno chat convinces player to go

by · Sport Witness

Palmeiras failed to sign Nottingham Forest’s Ramón Sosa in the winter market and then also ahead of the Club World Cup.

Earlier claims stated he wasn’t keen on a move to Brazil and the winger even said he wanted to continue at Nottingham Forest. Palmeiras haven’t given up and have made concrete progress to secure his services this summer.

On June 27th, ESPN in Brazil reported Nottingham Forest had accepted and €11m offer from Palmeiras. They also stated the South American club were optimistic they could convince the Paraguay international.

Versus report the 25-year-old is virtually a Palmeiras player and only needs to sign the contract.

Sosa joined the Premier League club from Talleres in August of last year and was limited to only one start in the league last season.

Nuno Espírito Santo has informed the attacker he won’t have a major role at Nottingham Forest, who are open to selling him. This has convinced Sosa to join the Brazilian club, after previously refusing to leave.

Versus state there’s a ‘full agreement between all parties’, and he will sign the contract with Palmeiras after they return from the Club World Cup.

Meanwhile, Palmeiras vice-president Paulo Roberto Buosi has refused to discuss his side’s interest in the Nottingham Forest player.

He insists the focus is on the Club World Cup quarterfinal clash against Chelsea on Friday [local time] and CNN Brasil relayed his comments.

“So, we have some options, some alternatives, but today the focus is 110% on this game on Friday. I think that’s what’s important, it’s a historic game. All our effort and energy are focused on this game,” he said.
